Surgical Assistant
Job Duties

Open Office
Turn on Equipment
Xray Machines (Panorex,PAmachine, CT scanner)
Vacuum Pump
MedGas (N2O, O2)

Turn on lights in all surgery rooms.

Turn on Computers in back.

Set up surgery rooms for first patients as described in procedure outlines.
- All necessary equipment/supplies should be placed on counter before doctor enters room to see patient.

Take x-rays on patients as needed

Assist physician during consults, surgeries, and post-ops
Monitor patients in recovery
Wrap and sterilize instruments.
