Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Jerome, ID. Compensation is $18.00 an hour based on experience. Position summary: We are looking for someone to accurately select and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are picked according to customer specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency and accuracy within our operations.

Essential functions and key responsibilities include: efficiently picking and packing orders based on customer requests and shipping schedules; verifying the accuracy of picked items against order lists to ensure completeness and correctness; operating warehouse equipment safely and effectively; maintaining a clean and organized work area; assisting with inventory management; collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines; and following all safety protocols and procedures.

Position requirements include: standup forklift experience required; high school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferred; ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail; good physical stamina; basic math skills; familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software; and excellent communication skills.
