Position Summary The buyer for this team will be responsible for all aspects of the production equipment MRO procurement process for Samsung Austin Semiconductor. Responsibilities include managing the purchase order lifecycle and overseeing demand forecasting and inventory planning. Additionally, the role involves developing and executing negotiations for supply agreements with strategic suppliers, leading cost savings and efficiency initiatives, tracking and reporting procurement-related key performance indicators, and collaborating with Engineering and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess high accountability and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be excited by the challenge of bringing leading-edge technology to the US market. Role and Responsibilities Purchase order lifecycle management. Supplier management. Lead cost savings and efficiency projects. Track and report Procurement-related KPIs. Interface with Engineering & other stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics or a related field. 7+ years of procurement / supply-chain experience. Hands on work with an ERP, SAP preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent collaboration, communication, and time-management skills. Pay and Benefits The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
