Job Title: Head - Product Marketing, AI Products Experience: 18+ years Pay Range Minimum: $220,000 per year Pay Range Maximum: $260,000 per year A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. About the Role HCLTech is looking for a Head of, Product Marketing- AI Products, to lead go-to-market strategy and execution for our portfolio of AI products. This is a senior, high-visibility role for a marketing leader who can translate deep technical capability into sharp market positioning, compelling narratives, and measurable pipeline impact for a fast moving category. You will own the positioning, naming, messaging, and launch strategy for HCLTech's AI product line, partnering closely with product, engineering, sales, and executive leadership to build a category-defining brand in enterprise AI. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end product marketing strategy for HCLTech's AI product portfolio- from naming and positioning through launch, enablement, and ongoing demand generation. Develop clear, differentiated market positioning grounded in real buyer insight, competitive intelligence, and industry trends (agentic AI, sovereign AI, AI infrastructure). Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate complex technical capabilities into simple, compelling value propositions for enterprise buyers (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs). Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, including messaging frameworks, sales enablement assets, and launch campaigns. Build and manage a team of product marketers, and act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on brand and category positioning. Partner with sales, alliances (including hyperscaler and hardware partners), and demand generation teams to ensure consistent, effective messaging across every buyer touchpoint. Develop and maintain competitive positioning Represent product marketing at executive briefings, analyst engagements, industry events, and press interactions. Define and track marketing-qualified pipeline, launch effectiveness, and brand awareness metrics tied to business outcomes. What We’re Looking For 18+ years of overall marketing experience, with a significant portion in product marketing, technology marketing, or brand strategy roles. Proven experience marketing enterprise AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, or complex B2B technology products. A track record of building positioning and go-to-market strategy for products from the ground up, including naming and category creation. Strong understanding of the enterprise AI landscape Experience partnering with engineering and product leadership to translate technical depth into clear market narratives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite executives, analysts, and press. Experience managing and developing a product marketing team. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Willingness to travel as needed for customer, partner, and industry engagements. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience at a major IT firms, hyperscaler, or enterprise AI product company. Familiarity with GSI/hyperscaler partnership go-to-market motions (e.g., NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft). Experience building category-defining positioning in a nascent or fast-evolving market. Location This role is based in Santa Clara, California, and requires regular in-office presence to collaborate closely with regional product, engineering, and executive teams.
