Apply Today.Position Overview: As a Production Technician, you are responsible for running and monitoring specific equipment on the production line in a safe and reliable manner. Your role focuses on building fundamental technical skills, developing process discipline, and learning the basics of equipment performance and quality checks. The Production Technician is expected to follow standard operating procedures, respond to basic equipment stops, and escalate abnormalities. With strong performance, technical curiosity, and learning agility, this core can progress into Production Specialist, gaining broader technical responsibility and autonomy.The Winter Haven plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) working 4 days on / 4 days off. Schedules will rotate from day to night shift every 4 weeks.Competencies:Operational Experience: ability of handling day-to-day operations of production machinery, ensure the production process runs continuously without interruptionsLimited Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance: ability to identify issues, perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks, ability to use hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks and repairsQuality Assurance and Inspection: conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and record results accordinglySafety Understanding: understands the importance of safe work practices and follows procedures diligentlyLiteracy and Comprehension: proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending written materials clearly in the local language relevant to the roleEffective Communication: ability to communicate and report issues effectively with coworkers and internal leadership teamAttention to Details: keen attention to detail to ensure all aspects of production meet high standardsTime Management: ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyContinuous improvement Mindset: observers' inefficiencies and contributes ideas to improve safety, quality, or flowSkills:Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems and toolsVisual and basic measurement tools, knows how to perform basic inspections and interpret resultsFirst-level stop response, can identify and assist in resolving simple line stops or alarmsBasic Troubleshooting of common mechanical & graphics issues to minimize downtimeFlexibly and learning agility to rotate between machines, to switch between different tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and adaptabilityStart-up/shutdown procedures, understands and follows step-by-step operation instructions, following safety protocols and maintaining production qualityBasic computer skills, understands how to use digital tools and systems for communication and task executionAccountabilities:Operate assigned equipment following standard procedure, ensures safe and stable operation of a specific machine or process step, escalate issues when neededFollow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions, adheres to all safety standards, uses PPE properly, and participate in safety audits or checksIdentify and report equipment or process abnormalities, recognizes unusual equipment behavior or process deviations and informs team leadsSupport basic troubleshooting and cleaning tasks (Housekeeping), assists in resolving minor stops and performs regular cleaning or checks under supervisionPerform visual and dimensional quality checks, executes basic in-line inspections using tools or visual standards and reports non-conformitiesMinimize material waste through correct handling and operation, operates with care to reduce spoilageParticipate in on-the-job training and learning activities, builds knowledge of upstream/downstream process impact, equipment setting, and quality driversContribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities, maintain clear, organized work area and suggests improvements to routines or ergonomicsPhysical Environment and Working Conditions: May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to: Hot/Cold working conditions. Loud/Noisy environment. Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).Qualifications & Experience: Production Technician I: No experience required High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic computers skillsCompensation & Benefits: Starting Hourly Rate: $26.15 This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
