Job Description Telecommunication Technician/Clerical Coordinator (CC/TT) I Primary Duties and Responsibilities Monitor electrocardiogram and SPO2 measurements continuously for designated patients and inform the RN of changes. Maintain and check monitoring equipment daily. Assist the patient care team with organization within the clinical station, answer telephones, and respond promptly to patient call lights. Assist patients, hospital visitors, and members of the healthcare team. Perform clerical functions, including organizing the clinical station, tracking equipment inventory, and monitoring electronic orders. Notify Charge Nurse of new admits and maintain census records. Participate in Swap Shifts to ensure skill competency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Recent experience as a Telemetry Tech/Clerical Coordinator in an acute healthcare environment preferred. Completion of a basic arrhythmia course and successful passage of an ECG test required. Completion of a Clerical Coordinator course including medical terminology preferred.
