Med-Surg Nursing - Travel Nurse
Job Title: MED-SURG Location: Carbondale, Illinois Schedule: 6:00AM - 4:00PM x 6 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $55 - $60/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
Work in a primarily surgical department with some medical overlap due to bed availability Follow scheduling requirements including working every other weekend as scheduled by agency Provide patient care in a 35-room private patient facility with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift Collaborate with shift supervisors and patient care techs on each shift Maintain current Illinois Registered Nurse license Maintain current CPR/BLS certification Maintain current ACLS certification Perform duties across applicable specialty units including Intensive Care, Progressive Care, Cardiac Services, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, and other designated departments Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery Comply with all required licensure and certification requirements applicable to assigned unit
