Department: Job Description Summary: Position Responsibilities The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in clinical research in lymphoproliferative malignancies (CLL, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and Hairy Cell Leukemia). Serves as the project lead for overseeing the execution of existing lymphoproliferative malignancies projects. This includes meeting milestones, troubleshooting, and collaborating with the primary investigator, physician extenders, research staff, and industry and/or academic sponsors of the trials. Establishes and maintains an IRB-approved registry to effectively track patients participating in clinical trials and research initiatives. Conducts literature reviews and scientific searches and summarizes relevant evidence to support manuscripts, abstracts, protocols, presentations, and research proposals. Creates an educational outreach platform in partnership with local healthcare providers and community organizations to raise awareness about current research initiatives and clinical trial opportunities. Participates in tumor boards, attends relevant conferences, and join research and service line meetings as directed by the physician lead. Performs medical chart review and extracts relevant clinical data from the electronic medical record for research databases, retrospective studies, registries, and feasibility assessments. Collaborates with the clinical research coordinator assigned to the protocols to assist with data entry for the tissue registry. Has working knowledge of statistical methods commonly used in clinical research, with the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret datasets and generate tables, figures/images, and statistical outputs for abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts. Qualifications License/Registration/Certification Not applicable Education Bachelor's degree in related science. Experience Experience conducting research within a clinical or pre-clinical setting.
