Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Knowledgeable in nursing practice as outlined by the state nurse practice act
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and research
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care
- Collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary care team
- Uphold the voice of the patient and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Support service excellence goals
- Implement nursing practice standards put forth by the professional nursing organization
