Damage Control Coordinator

Position Purpose
Handles damaged products by assessing, repairing, salvaging, and returning items to stock while supporting administrative tasks, reporting, and coordination with internal teams.

Major Functional Responsibilities:

• Assess quality of product and determine the damage, repair or salvage possibilities for that product.
• Repair product or its packaging when possible.
• Review salvage sources to increase salvage return value.
• Ensure product is returned to stock in a timely manner and to the correct slot.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to return stock, salvage, dump, or repair product.
• Produce various reports and documents related to damage and return process.
• Interfaces with transportation and internal operations personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications

Required Education
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Work Experience
• 6 Months - 1 Year warehouse experience.

Required Qualifications
• Math skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Skill using a computer, sufficient to input data.
