Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech evaluation and speech therapy services in a school setting in San Antonio, Texas.


The ideal candidate will provide speech evaluations, therapy, consultations, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) services] to students with disabilities in accordance with District and federal educational guidelines while supporting student [communication, educational participation, and individualized therapy goals].

Requirements:
•Current license issued by the applicable state board to perform speech therapy services.
•Ability to provide speech consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct speech evaluations and determine eligibility for speech therapy services in accordance with District standards.
•Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as determined appropriate by their ARD committees.
•Implement students' speech therapy services in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
•Develop therapy plans and recommendations for students eligible for speech therapy services.
•Use District-approved assessment instruments and complete required evaluation reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
•Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student evaluations, eligibility, placement, and speech therapy services.
•Provide consultations regarding students' speech and communication needs.
•Supervise speech therapy assistants as needed.
•Comply with required timelines for evaluations and services under applicable federal law and District requirements.
•Maintain required documentation and comply with District standards, policies, and procedures.
•Any other duties as assigned.
