Registered Nurse Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
Experience supporting labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
Reliable transportation is essential, as public transportation is limited in the area

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
Monitor vital signs and assess maternal and fetal well-being
Assist with clinical procedures and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Offer education and guidance related to childbirth, postpartum recovery, and lactation support
Deliver emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe, effective patient care
