Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible.The WorkSelected candidate will be the First Line Manager for a team of Specialty Engineers with expertise in the following domains: Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA), System Safety, and Electromagnetic Effects Engineering (EEE). Responsibilities include:• Owner/focal point for Specialty Engineering (SpE) program execution and proposal development.• Development of Specialty Engineering solutions, modeling and analysis for systems, system of systems, subsystems, and parts. Develop cost estimates and lead Specialty Engineering proposal efforts.• Coordinating employee work assignments, recruitment and hiring, training and career development, performance assessments, salary actions, and recognition/disciplinary actions.• Collaborating with other RMS Specialty Engineering leaders, program leadership, suppliers, and customer.• Establishing organizational vision, goals, and metrics to track performance.This is a direct position in Syracuse, NY. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
