Sr. UX Designer, Senior Talent and Transformation (STT)

The Senior Talent and Transformation team enables Amazon's senior leaders, and through them the company, to be as successful as possible inventing and delivering for customers, today and tomorrow.We seek a Sr, UX Designer who excels in strategic thinking and thrives where no playbook exists. You will define the vision for how these leaders shape their talent strategy, designing AI-native tools in a domain where customer needs, requirements, and technical feasibility are often undefined.Your work will cut through the complexity of leadership at Amazon: human-centered interfaces that speed innovation and decision-making. You will multiply the team's impact, leading collaborations with senior leaders, setting the interaction patterns engineers build against, and raising the bar for the designers, researchers, and scientists you work with.To succeed, you must be an innovative self-starter, a strategic big-picture thinker, and a hands-on technical collaborator obsessed with elevating both the work and the people around you.Key job responsibilities* Set UX vision and influence the strategic product roadmap.* Develop working prototypes to learn and fail fast.* Facilitate work sessions with executive leaders.* Own the design of end-to-end product experiences and features.* Lead design through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from discovery to launch.* Champion human-centered design culture.* Drive creative process and collaboration with cross-functional partners to propose new ideas and strategies.* Model behavior that exemplifies Amazon Leadership Principles in their team and raises the design bar for the organization.* Provide coaching and feedback, with an emphasis on growing junior designers into future leaders.* Create and drive adoption of design guidelines, mechanisms, best practices, process, and tools.A day in the lifeAs a Sr. UX Designer, you will be working with product and engineering stakeholders closely on day-to-day basis. You will independently own major experiences, and collaborate deeply with other UX designers and research across teams, connecting individual features to a holistic, wide-ranging experience. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
