Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Maryland
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Description: The Interventional Radiology Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of interventional radiographic procedures, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform angiographic and interventional procedures using prescribed techniques.
- Provide assistance during daily procedures and maintain patient safety.
- Engage in effective communication with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
- Carry out job tasks focusing on safety for patients, co-workers, and oneself.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Active Maryland RT license required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R mandatory; ARRT-VI and fluoroscopy permit preferred.
- Experience in neuro and vascular interventional procedures required.
