Position Details:
• Full time, permanent opening
• Hospital employed
• Mean Specialty Physician-to-Population Ratio: 1:22,719
• Base Physician Demand 4.0 FTE
• Available Physicians 3.0 FTE
• FUTURE WEEKEND CALL SCHEDULE: 1:4 with cardiologists taking call on their own patients during the week. ER unassigned patients will follow similar 1:4 rotation.
• AVERAGE NUMBER OF PATIENTS SEEN PER DAY: 25-30 in clinic, plus stress test patients (Avg. 3 per day)
• DAYS IN THE OFFICE: 4 AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOSPITALIZED PATIENTS PER DAY: 5-10 HOW FAR IN THE FUTURE ARE PATIENTS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED: 2-3 weeks, unless emergent
• SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING, EXPERIENCES DESIRED: As is appropriate for Cardiology. Nuclear Medicine certification is preferred. Experience with diagnostic invasive caths, pacemakers, echocardiography, stress testing, holters, TEEs,
