They ensure bartenders have the supplies they need to provide service to customers. A Barback has many responsibilities, including serving. Key Responsibilities Conducts and oversees the daily activities of the stock room and bar area. Must be able to lift 20-75 pounds in a repetitive motion as needed. Maintain full stock of the bar and stock room on a daily basis. Transport stock products to and from the bar. Report any missing or stolen items to the manager immediately. Clean store and stock room as needed to maintain compliance. Responsible for learning all areas of store operations to include bartending cleaning, expediting drinks. Responsible for maintaining the keg and CO2 log at all times. Must stock the coolers, bar cages, and any other areas of the store at all times. Essential Physical Functions Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Will frequently stand, walk, reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data. Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors. Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic. Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy. Report to work in a complete required uniform. Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflect the restaurant's image. Meet personal schedule requirements punctually.
