Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Some Weekend Shifts Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients including active management of labor, induction, and augmentation
• Care for high-risk obstetric patients including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, and VBAC/TOLAC
• Monitor and manage antepartum patients with expected ratios of 1:2 for labor and 1:3 for antepartum
• Respond to and manage maternal emergencies in an acute care setting
• Float between units as needed, including potential float to sister facilities nearby

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery
• Proficiency in antepartum care, pre-eclampsia management, and maternal emergency response
• Availability for some weekend shifts as part of the contracted schedule
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with VBAC/TOLAC management and multiples
• Background in induction and augmentation of labor in a high-acuity environment
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
