Field Service Technician

Overview Description Air Specialty and Equipment is one of the largest air compressor distributors in Texas. We are seeking an experienced individual who has worked in an industrial or manufacturing environment to fill the position of Field Service Technician for the San Antonio, TX area. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain rotary screw/reciprocating air compressors and various types of air dryers Perform diagnostics and determine causes for failures on air compressor systems equipment Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, cleaning and setting of factory standard controls. Provide equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs Document all service checklists and associated forms Demonstrate strong safety practices and use of necessary PPE and other safety devices Maintain company trucks and communicate with the Technical Department regularly to find solutions Requirements 4-5+ years field service experience required Previous compressed air experience required Valid driver's license Strong mechanical and electrical background Experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing commercial and industrial compressors and dryers desired Strong written and verbal communication skills Has own tools necessary to complete job (basic hand tools, multi-meter, thermal camera/thermometer) Pre-employment drug screening and background check is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
