Senior Field Reimbursement Manager - Liver - South TX/ Louisiana

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Field Reimbursement Manager for the liver therapeutic area covering South Texas and Louisiana. The role involves managing stakeholder relationships, navigating payer policies, and coordinating patient access strategies across regional accounts and health systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain business relationships with key account stakeholders, providers, and specialty pharmacies
• Serve as regional reimbursement expert, using influence mapping to engage key customer accounts
• Communicate formulary and reimbursement changes to accounts; provide education on prior authorizations and medical exceptions
• Collaborate with internal teams and develop instructional resources on reimbursement best practices for providers
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in patient access pathways; enhance coordination between HUB and field teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years pharmaceutical field reimbursement or market access experience
• Master's degree with 6+ years in field reimbursement, patient services, or account management
• Deep knowledge of payer landscapes, specialty pharmacy partnerships, and reimbursement pathways
• Demonstrated experience managing complex health system and multi-location provider accounts
• Understanding of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty payer segments
• Ability to influence without authority and align cross-functional stakeholders
• Willingness to travel 75% within designated regions; residency within 10 miles of coverage area
