Retail Brand Experience Assistant Store Manager – Georgetown, DC This non‑exempt, hourly position requires you to work on‑site in our Experience Center, manage daily operations and support customer engagement with a focus on our sustainable values. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing the overall atmosphere of the Experience Center. Attend community events and meetings as a brand representative. Manage inventory of sellable products across all channels and limit shrink. Maintain the condition and operations of the retail and office space, following up on repairs or maintenance. Engage in digital sales activities: chats, phone calls and virtual appointments. Handle daily customer inquiries, product information, order updates, issue resolution and escalations. Assume management duties in the absence of the store manager. Provide coaching, feedback and performance reviews to team members. Monitor quality assurance, develop and maintain SOPs, and suggest operational improvements. Manage employee schedules, hours, vacation and other HR tasks. Participate in company initiatives and concept projects. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 year of retail or equivalent experience. Store management or assistant management experience (keyholder or higher) is preferred. Experience managing and training store employees. Proficiency with Mac and Google Suite. Comfortable with phone and video appointments. Team player and strong communicator who promotes a balanced and healthy environment for staff and guests. Entrepreneurial mindset to elevate the location. Passion for healthy living, environmental awareness and social responsibility; experience with a similar brand is a plus. Experience in café operations, training, or running branded events is a plus. Physical Requirements Must remain stationary 50% of the time. Move throughout the retail space to meet customers and team members. Operate and use computers, printers and tablets. Communicate frequently with other team members to provide status updates.
