Vehicle Operator - Data Collection

We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting‑edge driving technology. As part of this program, you will operate test vehicles in real‑world conditions, gathering crucial data that directly impacts innovation. This role will be based at the Sunnyvale, CA worksite and will relocate to the San Francisco worksite at a later stage. Available Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM: Wed‑Sun | Thur‑Mon | Sat‑Wed 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM: Tue‑Sat | Wed‑Sun | Thur‑Mon | Fri‑Tue | Sat‑Wed | Sun‑Thu What You’ll Do Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs. Conduct basic software operations to support real‑time data collection. Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs. Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance. Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage. Requirements Professional driving experience (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc., OK) Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record Comfortable driving for extended periods (4–8 hours per day) A valid US driving license for the last 3+ years No moving violations within the past 12 months, DUIs, or criminal record Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelines Ability to work onsite in both Sunnyvale and San Francisco.
