Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Construction

Preconstruction Manager
A well-established and national general contractor is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their Phoenix team. This role will lead the preconstruction process on a variety of commercial projects (largely education, municipal, & healthcare), working closely with clients, design teams, and internal operations from early concept through GMP.
Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, estimating, and cost planning efforts across multiple projects
- Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope alignment
- Partner with clients, architects, and engineers during design development
- Drive value engineering and cost-saving strategies
- Support project handoff to operations teams
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of preconstruction/estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor - ideally education, municipal and healthcare projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction (ground-up and/or TI)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Able to work in the U.S. without restriction
