Flicks Pub of Lorien Taneytown is hiring a cook to join our dynamic team! We're looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic cook who loves to experiment with new cooking techniques and bring fresh ideas to our neighborhood watering hole. If you take pride in preparing delicious, nutritious meals and enjoy making a positive impact in the community, this is the role for you!
Compensation
- $17.00-$19.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift differentials available
- Same day pay for all employees

Responsibilities
Pub cook duties & responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock workstations before each shift.
- Ensure food is cooked, plated, and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies are low.
- Properly store food and label products to ensure freshness.
- Work collaboratively with servers and bartenders to provide excellent guest service.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Must be 21 years or older
Qualifications
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 2550 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
