Oral Surgical Assistant

Our office, Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery‑Sacramento, in Sacramento, CA is seeking a talented full‑time surgical assistant to our Oral Surgeon to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Surgical Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world‑class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure. Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required. Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized. Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety. Prepare and provide post‑operative instructions and materials to patients. Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager. As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. Your Background 1‑2 years in Oral Surgery Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks Excellent communication and people skills A strong attention to detail Well‑organized and reliable A high school diploma If this sounds like you, you will fit right in with the team!
