Full-Time Pediatric Dental Assistants

Great Grins for Kids Portland

Great Grins for Kids is seeking a positive, dependable, and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistants to join our team in Portland.

These full-time positions offer a flexible 4 or 5 day work week . We are looking for caring professionals who are passionate about helping children feel safe and comfortable while providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take diagnostic dental X-rays
• Help children feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visits
• Educate patients and parents about oral hygiene
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records
• Contribute to an organized, professional, and team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience required
• Current X-ray certification required
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• EFDA certification is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Enjoys working with children and families
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to assist at either office location when needed
