Finance Controller Assistant

Fluent in German and English, the full-time Finance Controller Assistant will oversee daily financial processes, coordinate bookkeeping, and support financial reporting and compliance in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Partner with the business to ensure accuracy and compliance in daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes Lead month-end close activities and assist in preparing management and statutory financial reports Collaborate with the European Tax team to support timely tax compliance and regulatory requirements Required qualifications Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Experience in finance roles, preferably within financial services or insurance Professional working proficiency in German and English (written and spoken) Strong grounding in accounting, control, and financial reporting Exposure to Solvency II or willingness to develop knowledge in this area
