Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Active NBRC credential.
• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Three or more years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital setting, including emergency department and adult critical care.
• Experience with airway management, endotracheal intubation and extubation, tracheostomy care, pulmonary hygiene, and emergency life support procedures.
• One or more years experience working in a Level 3 NICU preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and operate ventilators and other respiratory care equipment.

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Discipline: Respiratory Therapist (RT).
• Shift name: Nights.
• Shift schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 1900-0730.
• Holiday/weekend requirement: Three 12-hour holiday shifts per season; every other weekend.
• Required to work across acute care areas including ED and adult critical care.
