Qualifications
- CNA license required
- HS Diploma or Equivalent required
- Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital or rehabilitation center preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists with clerical, patient, client, team, and member-related duties
- Participate in department and facility meetings as assigned
- Perform clerical and computerized tasks, including answering/directing calls and maintaining filing systems
- Assist with treatment and prepare/transport patients to and from treatment areas as directed
- Coordinate activities with rehabilitation staff and other departments
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented approach with patients, clients, and staff
- Provide support to visitors, patients, clients, and team members
- Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies and report unusual incidents to the DOR
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness, supplies, and equipment within treatment areas and the department
- Participate in facility performance improvement programs
- Maintain consistent attendance and provide proper notice for scheduled absences
- Perform other duties as assigned
