Entry-Level Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineering)

Entry‑Level Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineering) Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Entry‑Level Product Review Engineers (Liaison Engineers) for the 787 Production Engineering team in North Charleston, SC. This role includes a 9‑to‑12‑month Boeing Training Rotation Program and requires a flexible schedule, with assignments on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays. Responsibilities Research and build knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in‑service issues. Assist with root‑cause analysis and draft dispositions for design non‑conformances. Assist system owner in preparation of technical communications. Identify analyses fleet data, collect and evaluate data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities. Support activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety. Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Assist with design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent directly related to the work statement. Completed all degree requirements by the application date. Experience in reading, interpreting, and generating electrical schematics and technical specifications. Experience with or knowledge of structural design principles for aircraft primary structure (fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, material strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques). Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Preferred Qualifications ABET accredited degree. Experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA). Aerospace, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience. Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge. Problem‑solving experience for simple to complex issues. Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology. Experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE) Authority.
