Your Impact Experienced HVAC Technicians are needed to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This fast‑paced position is ideal for responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who are willing to travel and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position; candidates should reside in the Billings, Montana area. Core Responsibilities Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems. Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment. Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑outs. Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards. Candidates should reside in the Billings, Montana area. Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion. Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. Occasional overnights required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem. Driving to remote work sites as needed. Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
