Job Summary and Qualifications

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking a Clinic Assistant for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• Greet and communicate with patients
• Performs selected administrative duties and assists clinical staff with non-clinical duties
• Scheduling and canceling patient appointments
• Answering the telephone
• Verifying patient insurance and demographics
• Collection of co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances
• Prepares exam rooms with needed equipment, supplies, and patient education materials
• Assists with autoclaving of instruments where appropriate with documented training
• Electronically filing and retrieving medical records
