As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Lenoir, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, entrances, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and/or facility concerns.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality of site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
