Senior Account Executive

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Account Executive to join one of our Commercial Lines teams in our Melville office on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing middle market commercial lines accounts
• Evaluate and process underwriting information from clients
• Negotiate renewals to obtain best rates, terms and conditions on behalf of clients
• Inform and educated clients about coverages and exposures
• Review commercial quotes, binders, invoices, and certificates/evidence of insurance for accuracy and completion
• Prepare commercial applications and forwarded to underwriters for consideration
• Provide annual reports of coverages, premium payments and incurred property and liability losses for auditors and accountants
• Maintain relationships with MGA's (Managing General Agents) of funded projects and introduced and implemented risk reduction management programs for safety that met and exceed State and Federal Requirements
• Inspection report recommendations.
• Receive and process premium payments on all new lines, renewal and NOC's

Experience:

• 5-7 years + Commercial Lines experience
• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated ability to property and casualty accounts (within a specific product segment or industry vertical); effectively market to carriers and customers; develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and prospects.
• Knowledge of all forms of property and casualty coverage rating.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products; EPIC experience preferred
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Valid P&C license required
