Job Duties

• Clean and maintain assigned rooms and common areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces
• Restock supplies as needed
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness standards
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Complete other general housekeeping duties as assigned

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, custodial, or cleaning training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to clean and maintain guest rooms, offices, common areas, or other assigned spaces.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning schedules and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assigned areas efficiently.
• Dependable attendance, professionalism, and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, healthcare, residential, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Experience using cleaning equipment, laundry systems, housekeeping carts, or sanitation products is beneficial.
• Knowledge of room inspection standards, infection control, or environmentally responsible cleaning practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, discretion, efficiency, and pride in maintaining clean environments are well positioned for success as a Housekeeper.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull cleaning supplies, linens, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely maneuver housekeeping carts, vacuums, and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in guest rooms, common areas, or facility environments while following established safety procedures.

What You Will Do


As a Housekeeper you will clean and prepare guest rooms, offices, common areas, or other assigned spaces by changing linens, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, removing waste, and reporting maintenance concerns. You will follow established cleaning schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures while helping maintain comfortable, orderly, and welcoming environments.
