Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse provides both direct and indirect patient care, effectively communicating with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and symptomatology. The RN must demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions or responses to treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for designated unit patient populations.
• Complete thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Effectively communicate with all customers, ensuring a high standard of service excellence.
• Work independently while appropriately delegating tasks as needed.
• Function effectively in crisis situations, maintaining composure and confidence.
• Adjust schedules to meet unit needs, including floating to various areas as directed.
• Adhere to all staffing and personnel policies and procedures.
• Maintain all required licensures and certifications current.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Department, ICU, and Med Surg settings.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• COVID-19 vaccination card must be provided if vaccinated.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Availability to work required weekends and holidays is necessary.
