Support students in a dynamic educational setting as a Paraprofessional/Education Assistant working full-time throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role focuses on assisting children in PK-6th grade with various disabilities. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and other specialists to provide individual and group support, address behavioral needs, and aid in mobility to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment. The position begins September 2nd.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional or Education Assistant, especially in school settings
• Knowledge of or exposure to supporting students with diverse disabilities
• Familiarity with PK-6 age groups and classroom dynamics
• Comfort with providing behavior and mobility assistance
• Problem-solving skills, patience, and a collaborative spirit
• Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt to evolving student needs

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional and behavioral interventions
• Work directly with students to support academic, behavioral, and mobility needs
• Adapt activities and learning materials to accommodate individual requirements
• Monitor students’ progress while maintaining a safe and positive environment
• Provide support during classroom transitions, lunch, recess, and special activities
• Communicate regularly with teaching staff and relevant school personnel
