Housekeeper

This position ensures compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations. This is a full‑time position with scheduled hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Must be available to work rotating weekends. Reports maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to supervisor. of cleaning supplies and request refills or replacements when necessary Follow infection control protocols, health and safety regulations and procedures. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed. Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, guests, or coworkers Follows all safety, OSHA, and infection control regulations. Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Assist with special cleaning projects or events as assigned Required Qualifications: Ability to pass the criminal background check required of all campus employees. High school education or equivalent. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control standards preferred. Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, long‑term care or hospitality preferred. Must be able to read, understand and speak English fluently. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part ofa team. Physical Requirements: Works in temperature‑controlled office areas, but frequently moves through the entire facility, including patient rooms, and common lobbies. Characterized by moderate noise levels with frequent interruptions. Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods. Ability to lift, push, pull or move at least 50 pounds independently. Requires regular bending, stooping, reaching, strong dexterity, and kneeling. Able to lift 35 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally.
