The Vietnamese Restaurant Host plays an essential role in creating a warm and welcoming first impression for every guest who dines with us at Live! Casino & Hotel. Your ability to greet guests with genuine hospitality, manage seating efficiently, and support smooth front-of-house operations helps set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. By answering questions, coordinating with servers, and maintaining an organized, inviting entrance area, you ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive—reflecting the high standards of service that define the Live! brand.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Greeting/welcoming and seating guests.
• Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
• Assisting wait/bar staff.
• Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
• Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.

• Able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner.

• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.

Must Haves:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach, while assisting guests.
• Use of stairs and elevators
