Swansons Auto Repair Inc is looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team in North Port, FL! Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Conduct brake inspections, repairs, and replacements
• Inspect and service suspension, steering, and drivetrain components
• Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to service advisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
• Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and use of shop equipment
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems in modern vehicles
• ASE certification(s) preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Own a basic set of professional hand tools
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
