Careers at Premier Creative Group Position: Audio Visual Repair & Maintenance Engineer Location: Troy, MI Job Id: 110 # of Openings: 1 Premier Creative Group is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Engineer who will develop and test solutions to solve technical problems with video, LED, audio, scenic, lighting, and rigging equipment. The Engineer will diagnose, repair, and test the operation of consumer, professional, or broadcast level equipment to keep them within the limits of standard or acceptable practice. Responsibilities Maintain and repair audio, video, LED, scenic, lighting, and rigging equipment and other types of A/V equipment as held in inventory or at client request. Work from service tags, manuals, maintenance logs, schematics, computer software, and similar documentation. Diagnose operating problems, determine causes and extent of repairs required, and calculate costs for replacement components or outside repair where schedules and backlogs dictate. Submit authorization and prepare purchase worksheets for acquisition of required parts or outside parts and labor. Research maintenance history to identify trends in failure or other related data for cost tracking. Document type and extent of problems, status of maintenance, and labor time. Prepare warranty claims for services performed within warranty repair contract requirements. Prepare service estimates for client units. Communicate with field technicians and customers to assist diagnosis and suggest adjustments or operational modifications. Qualifications Advanced degree in electronics or ample certifications preferred. 2-4 years’ experience in fixing A/V related equipment. Ability to obtain a Forklift License. Experience with WMS/IMS & Office 365. Ability to commute to and from the designated work location to meet work schedules.
