Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gather vital information, employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused approaches to create tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other effective techniques to address the unique needs of your clients.
  • Maintain precise, confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA standards and local regulations to ensure the integrity of patient information.
  • Work closely with our collaborative treatment team, engaging in regular consultations and case reviews to elevate the quality of patient care.
  • Provide education and support for patients and their families, fostering understanding of mental health conditions and treatment options available within the community.
  • Keep current with the latest research and advancements in mental health to enhance your practice and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on supporting a diverse clientele, including adolescents and adults dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.
  • A solid understanding of solution-focused therapy techniques, allowing you to tailor interventions to meet the individualized needs of each patient.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building strong therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits
