Experience Housekeeping Attendant

Housekeeping Room Attendant Salary: $16.00 per hour plus tips. Positions are available for full‑time and part‑time work in High Point, NC. General Overview As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests efficiently, delivering outstanding service with a Southern Flare. Qualifications Must be 16 years old or older. Job requires full mobility and the ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Energetic, able to multi‑task, and maintain excellent cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. Must have reliable transportation. MUST PASS DRUG TEST & BACKGROUND CHECK. Compensation Meeting Full Availability, Training, and room–time benchmarks (≤ 39 minutes/room) – $15.00 per hour. Meeting Full Availability and Training with previous housekeeping experience – $14.00 per hour. Available to work four days a week, including Saturday, Sunday, & Federal holidays – $13.50 per hour. Less than four days a week, no limitations – $13.00 per hour. All room attendants are eligible to receive tips. Requirements Dependable, honest, respectful, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Availability to work weekdays, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and Federal holidays. Reliable transportation. Punctual, uniform compliant including name badge, minimal work‑call outs, and willingness to assist as needed. Work Environment and Scheduling Days start around 8:30 a.m. and aim to finish by 3:00 p.m. on weekdays; weekend hours longer, aiming for 4–5 p.m. Ideal for those with class or family obligations in the evening. Weekends and holidays required when the hotel is sold out. Additional time‑off requests may be granted after 6 months of employment. Duties and Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms—including bed making, bathroom cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming. Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities. Perform deep‑cleaning tasks as required. Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily. Dispose of trash and recyclables. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Perform guest stayover service as needed.
