Router Shop TechnicianAre you ready to play a crucial role in shaping the future of aviation? Joby is seeking a Router Shop Technician to support our Composite Manufacturing efforts. You will participate in several aspects of the CNC composite trimming production environment. Hands-on experience and a "get it done" attitude are very important. This internship will be in person at our Marina CA location.Shift Schedules below:1st shift - Monday – Thursday: 7AM- 5:30PM 2nd shift- Monday - Thursday: 5:30PM - 4:00AM 3rd shift -Friday - Sunday: 6AM - 6:30PMResponsibilitiesAssist machine operators with fixture setups, loading/unloading, and machine cleanupAssist in organizational projects like CNC cutters and shop tools storage and CNC trim fixture inventory and organizationRegularly use hand tools, like power drills and torque wrenches, to setup fixturesRegularly operate heavy equipment, like a forklift and crane, to safely move and organize fixtures ranging from 20lb-1200lbsPerform deburring and cleaning operations on finished, CNC trimmed composite partsClean and organize shop space dailyWork collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standardsEstablish and continuously improve a well-organized and safe environment for all workspacesDo a variety of supporting tasks that are needed to get the job doneRequiredHS Diploma or GED EquivalentWork schedule Monday- Friday 3:30pm- 12amAbility to lift over 50 lbs. unassisted and stand at a workstation for extended periods (over 4 hours), excluding meals and breaks.Experience in a machine shop environmentHands-on, mechanical attitude, detail-oriented work habitsExcellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skillsEffective organizational skills to manage a high volume of shop equipmentExperience operating heavy equipment like a forklift and craneDesiredCompensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $22-$32/hour.
