Apartment Make Ready Technicians

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring dependable, hard-working Apartment Make Ready Technicians for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities with top apartment management companies. Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred. Job duties include conducting thorough inspections of vacant units and identifying necessary repairs or improvements. Technicians will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation. Ensuring all units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy by new residents is also part of the role. Technicians will coordinate with the maintenance team and property management to address any issues promptly. Maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks is essential. Assistance with other property maintenance duties as needed is also required.

Qualifications include having your own tools, a minimum of 1 year of previous multifamily maintenance experience, strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques, ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work independently and manage time effectively, physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor, and knowledge of the English language. Valid I.D., reliable transportation, and passing a background check are also required.
