Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical evaluations and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by skillfully interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide in-depth intraoperative support, ensuring the efficient preparation of operating rooms, proper patient positioning, and skillful handoff of surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication administration, diligent wound management, thorough discharge planning, and meaningful patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility for licensure
