About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rome, New York, 13440!

• Specialty: Med Surg / Step-Down Unit
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Start Date: July 6th
• Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1
• Local and Traveler Candidates Accepted
• Provide direct patient care to step-down patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems

Requirements

• Active RN License required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Step-Down/Telemetry experience
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Experience with Paragon EMR system
• Experience with Pyxis medication system
• Strong telemetry and progressive care experience preferred
