Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
