Become a part of our caring community As a Medical Assistant you will be the first contact for patient care, responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. Working onsite in a clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. What You’ll Do You will document patient symptoms and history in the EMR You will take and record accurate vital signs You will administer injections and medications You will perform diagnostic tests You will collect specimens and draw blood You will sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, well-organized exam room What You Bring Completion of an accredited MA training program, Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential, or 5+ years of relevant experience with Provider approval 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience Phlebotomy experience Experience administering medication and vaccines Current CPR Certification Bilingual in English and Spanish Nice to Have Active MA certification or Registration Value-based Care experience including familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00 Location: Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care Center 2335 E Lake Mead Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89030 This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $43,000 - $56,200 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
