Application Engineer - Architectural Panels

Salary: $80,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial construction, manufacturer representation, or building products sales.
• We need foundational knowledge of building envelope systems, wall assemblies, thermal barriers, and architectural drawings.
• We expect strong technical skill with CRM platforms for managing a high-volume sales pipeline.
• You should be able to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings and architectural specifications at a working level.
• We value excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organization and consistent task follow-through.
• An associates or bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
• Direct experience with premium building envelope manufacturers or metal panel systems is preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with Pipedrive and HubSpot databases is preferred.
• Familiarity with building envelope regulatory standards, including NFPA 285, IBC basics, and ASTM testing protocols, is preferred.

• We want you to take full ownership of assigned deals and qualify general contractors and subcontractors to move projects through the pipeline.
• We expect you to apply the 3-Day/3-Bidder Rule so each project entering bidding has at least three qualified bidders within three business days.
• You will manage technical RFQ workflows and vendor relationships, then prepare and submit accurate project quotes to qualified bidders.
• You will advance high-value opportunities from the Hot List stage to PO/LOI status and ensure a smooth, documented handoff to operations.
• You will use HubSpot and Pipedrive to track communications, record pipeline progress, and maintain clean, accurate data.
• You will support Project Specialists and Sales Estimators by organizing technical documents, capturing detailed client notes, and handling key transaction details.
